I developed Digital Visions to showcase the photo restoration services of my Father, and to advertise his computer repair and upgrade services. It has a somewhat odd layout, with one website offering two distinct and unrelated services. It was written in Rails and currently runs on the same low-end Pentium III that hosts meagar.net, a testament to efficiency and aggressive caching.
This was also one of the first times I used JavaScript for visible effect, showing the samples in a floating pop-up. As with all my sites, base-line functionality was implemented to insure the site would function without JavaScript, before additional presentation features were added.
